Oh boy. OH BOY. Where do I even begin with this hunk of junk? This is one of Tubi’s original horror features and they definitely skipped out on the horror. I watched the trailer a few months ago when it dropped and thought “this looks SCARY”. The girl turning into a creepy dead girl in the graveyard, the demon girl stalking her friends, the scene in the pool where the one dude is harassed by demon hands. I was let down.

Big time.

This doesn’t even feel like a horror movie in the traditional sense. This feels like more of a drama with horror elements added in. Think the last Conjuring movie but where the court case takes center stage. The plot is about a weekend getaway with the main girl, her boyfriend and their group of friends but then shit goes haywire as the main girl starts to see some kind of demon in her visions. My main gripe with this is that the visions are cool because as I said, the demon or ghost or what have you looks really, really good….but you have to wait until the last 25 minutes for anything to really happen, and when it does, it happens way too quick and you’re left asking yourself if that really happened. Haha, silly puns.

At the end of the day, a simple and cool concept was poorly executed. Tubi could have done better, but alas….this never happened.
