Quick horror movie review by Lachelle Redd – Howl – 2015 – a jewel to the monster lover in all of us.

Howl – 2015

Synopsis

When passengers on a train are attacked by a creature, they must band together in order to survive until morning.

This little gem of a movie is a jewel to the monster lover in all of us. In looking for something with a new scare in the werewolf genre, this one is sure to please. So, here we go.

A group of passengers on a train are headed home at the end of the day. The train’s ticket master is having a bad day. He is also having to deal with the various attitudes of the passengers.  Suddenly the train comes to a sharp halt. Of course, people are pissed off and he does not have the right answers. The driver steps off the train to find out what happened and is never heard from again.

One of the passengers, an obnoxious alpha male, decides that they should all walk to the next station. Of course, the ticket inspector is against the idea and that he could lose his job. However, the passengers agree with the alpha and they all step off the train. Bad mistake. They are not far from the train, but they are far from the train, when soon they are under siege by a pack of werewolves. The rest of the movie is all about survival and what they are going to be about the old woman who gets bitten.

This film is a great find. In the monster realm, this one should get more love that it receives. The characters are played very well. In addition, the idea of being trapped in a tin can with blood thirsty beasts eventually getting in is a great fear enhancer. Check this one out on the Roku Channel Amazon Prime Video, and Crackle.
