BOOK REVIEW – It Calls From The Forest by Eerie River Publishing – You see no happy endings, or maybe you do…?

I received an advanced copy of this book and I must say I had fun reading it.

Here, the reader will find a lot of traditional material mixed with surprising winks. When you start the story, you think you know what’s going to happen, but you actually don’t.

The surprise factor is present in almost all the stories.

This is an anthology any monsters lover will enjoy. Blood, shifters, claws, a splash of comedy that even made me laugh at some point.

The stories are short, so you turn pages so easily.

I also loved the fact that you see no happy endings, or maybe you do…? depending on how disturbing your point of view is.

You can jump from one story to the other, in my opinion, each one of them has something special that grabs you.
The characters slowly lose their mind and they finally… “are game”. They transform their fear into hatred and you can see them snapping.

Quick to read, fun material, different styles, fresh and grabbing. I really enjoyed it!
