Thomas Reed has learned the hard way what it takes to survive in The Exchange’s world. Buying and Selling memories to people was a tricky exercise. But through a strict routine of keeping his head down, trusting nobody, and defending his ‘anchor’ memories at all costs, Thomas has managed to scrape by day to day. He’s one of the lucky ones.
But the times are changing. Something terrible has taken root in the city’s shadows and Thomas finds himself staring down the barrel of an economic, psychiatric apocalypse.
