The ruins that the cover of this EP shows are from Belchite, a place where in 1937 a battle of the Spanish civil war took place, devastating the whole place.
The main song of this EP, The Fall of an Empire, is about what war is, battles,… for Hexenbann. This song does not focus on a specific conflict, it is only the vision of what war leaves: destruction, death, ruins and two sides that always lose.
