Rob Benny, a composer and life-long horror fanatic, decided to create music that recalled his favorite Horror themed movies and video games.
Through deep analysis of many scores and soundtracks along with a rich education of 20th century music history, Rob came up with his own style and formula to produce serious music in the Horror genre. Classically trained and skilled on various instruments, he drew his influences from contemporary Horror film composers, visionaries of Expressionism, Serialism, and Atonal composition, and experimental Electronic and Post-Industrial musicians of the 19th and 20th century.
He created the experimental, symphonic Dark Ambient project Cucurbitophobia for passionate Horror aficionados and casual Halloween fans alike to add another dimension of art and entertainment for their own enjoyment.
