Horror Across The Alley by R.C. Rumple

TBM Horror - Richard Rumple - Horror Across The Alley Cover

A book that will have you wondering every time a door slams in your home!

Horror Across The Alley isn’t the typical book you’ll find on Amazon. It contains a cast of characters you’ll either love or hate, as well as those oddities you’d never want to meet. Renters move in but quickly move out … either on their own or by ambulance. Now, a recent military veteran moves in and finds another enemy to confront. Will he and his group of acquaintances survive, or will the spirits of the house claim more victims? You’ll need to “Add To Cart” to find out!

5-star Reviews!

“I must say first that I love the writer’s style, which is easy to follow. As I was biting my nails about the goriness and actual horror that might present itself, I was disappointed to realize that the author did not put much creepiness and scariness into it. The story really centers around the neighbors rather than the ‘horror’ itself, and how the people come to deal with the ‘horror’ next door.
It’s a good read and I can’t wait to see what the author delivers next.”

“Richard Rumple is a new friend and I love his sense of humor. I was looking for something new to read different from my usual mysteries. Wow I got something different for sure. First of all I love the characters and their reactions to life. I have never read a horror story and I was amazed. I have to tell you dinner was served late as I had to finish the book. Will continue to read his books as they take you away from reality for a period of time…GREAT READ.”

“This is a great read that you don’t want to put down once you begin! Horror Across the Alley quickly draws you into a twisted plot filled with surprises. More than just a scary story, this book also expresses the kindness of others when help is needed–even at the ultimate cost. I absolutely loved this one and highly recommend picking this book up…trust me, once you do, have some time set aside for this non-stop thriller.”

About the Author

Richard “Rich” Rumple currently resides in Indiana, with previous residences in New York, Chicago, Mobile, Baton Rouge, Lexington, and Europe.

With Pumpkins On The Road, he returns to the Thriller/Horror genre after a two-year writing hiatus due to the personal hardship of personally discovering his elderly father dead and then having to clean up and repair a hoarding disaster in that home. During his time away, only a couple of short stories in Horror anthologies could be managed as he experienced the real-life horror of concentrating on removing trash and expired food items, as well as having to repair the damage they had caused to the interior structure and such of the home.

Finally, with these tasks behind him, he was able to return to his writing. “Some of my fans think it strange that I go from performing stand-up to writing horror. Actually, the two compliment each other. Performing helped me to understand audience needs and expectations. Writing helps me take those to a new level.

People need an adrenaline rush from time to time, and creating that gives me one, too. It’s similar to when I did stand-up comedy and got the audience laughing–there is no better feeling than to be able to take their minds off of their daily problems and provide them an escape.”
