Shredded, I’m scattered

Ground into the earth under the heel
of Those who tried to erase Me

But pieces remain

And it’s those Pieces that you gather
Tuck them into your pocket for safekeeping
You won’t Forget
No matter how much they try

To make My life a part of no one’s history

Each day

Until you can make the pieces fit
And see into the Life
That was
