The world of Peter Hanson, emerging true crime writer, is about to fall apart. He is informed by the police that both his parents have been found dead in their bed. The case is quickly closed as suicide, despite the doubts of Robert Cooper, the homicide investigator in charge of the case.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Davide Tarsitano is an author of novels and short stories.
He was born in Italy in 1989. He was raised in Cosenza, a small town in the south, and educated in its public schools. At the age of seven, he found the passion of his life when his dad bought him a book from the Goosebumps series by R.L Stine named Night of the Living Dummy. His passion for horror escalated quickly, leading him to Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King.
By the time he was fourteen, he had written short stories and a full screenplay of a horror movie.
In the following years his interest broadened towards cosmic horror, science fiction and dystopian fiction. He met his wife in 2016 and married her in 2019. He currently lives in Indiana with his wife Shanea and his two dogs Lola and Ralph. In 2022 Tarsitano is awarded with the first prize at the Book Fest literary contest with his debut novel, The Tooth Fairy.
